N96 not released! Was it a lie?

Not at all… We were really confident that the release date was going to be 7th May. Turns out that we were maybe too optimistic. Truth is that we had a media launch that day, but that was it, not a shipping date or a retail date. Although in this conference with Nokia we managed to dig the true shipping date, or should I say…shipping week?
As I said in few blogs and forums, I will reveal the date when I publish the interview with Nokia’s Head of Go to Market NSeries, Sales Middle East and Africa, Henri Mattila, but as that interview publish has to be postponed, I will tell you what he told me: The Nokia N96 will start shipping week 34 of this year. That makes it from August 17. This is international shipping according to him, so we can await retail perhaps by September.

i wait for n96 becoze nokia say that they included 9 nseries mobiles feauterus.i already have n91 and n95.i wish n96 have n91 headfone music.then i buy it.becoz i have already 16gb and 5 mp cam.i think nokia made n96 for his own used becoz he not want to released.

N96 has a 3.5mm jack just like on N91. You can buy such headphones as well. It’s all there Karar
