Nokia N96 campaign in India

Nokia will be throwing a challenge in India, entitled “Nokia N96 24GB is big!”. Of course the N96 only has 16GB built-in memory, but you could always buy an additional 8GB memory card.

The company will show users how to make use of such a large amount of memory via the means of playing a game where one has to catch as much as multimedia files as possible. Six Nokia N96 are up from grabs, two for students only, and there is even more NSeries devices to be offered for gifts for on-spot contests, such as the one which Nokia will travel to College Campuses in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai and provide users with hands-on preview of the N96.

This is what I call marketing.

hey theres nothing wrong in selling chinese versions as long as the buyer is aware it is a chinese version. Especially when you get it at a fraction of the price. consumer trends has taken over and fashion statements are made also now by showing off your expensive mobile. I am thinking of opening a website catered especially for india with all thes models in chinese versions. i would apprecaite any comments if anyone thinks there is a demand in india for the chinese versions?

We didn’t say there is something wrong. There is demand if there is warranty, but you can get sued by Nokia.

nokia would sue ebay if it affected them that much. After all i would be happy to sell to the average joe public not the masses that nokia sell for. Cect is official chinese brand for clone phones so it would be very legal. I love my india!

Last time I checked, Nokia has lawyers working actively in South Africa customs to find counterfeit products, not sure what the situation is in India though
