Name: Rotoku
Genre: puzzle
Summary: As you can probably tell this is a variant of the very popular sudoku puzzle game, but the only way they are related is the end goal of sorting out the numbers in the right order. When sudoku came out I liked it but I’m kind of bored of it, Rotoku takes a new approach to playing the game think of it as sudoku come Rubiks Cube. The first thing that’s different that sudoku is that it gives you all numbers at the start, from there you have to rotate a block of 4 numbers until the puzzle is complete. If your getting bored of sudoku then you can change things like the size and characters that are used. I also want to talk about how clever this game is because what the game will do is colour code the numbers so you know if they in the right place or even in the right box.
Overview: If I’m talking strictly about the game(not the puzzle) then I have to admit that its pretty good with all the available options and settings, as far as the puzzle goes I’m not too sure if it will catch on because some puzzles are fine but others can really long and seem to have no end which could be taken as a good thing but I think its just too much. Rotoku isn’t free but it only costs £3.00 so if your a big sudoku fan then this game will be a winner straight away but for anyone unsure then you can check out the trial which will let you play unlimited number of games but only for 2 mins.
