Name: RapidFire

Genre: Arcade/Shooter

Summary: I guess it all depends on the person how you use your phone and I know for a lot of people games is a great feature for their nokia N96. RapidFire is a new java game for your nokia N96 with the objective of killing all the terrorists and saving all the hostages. The overall game is a bit pointless but then so is any other game for a phone really but it does have a real entertainment feel to it. The graphics are pretty good but aren’t amazing and the controls are very simple. I would consider this game more of an Arcade game that all about quick and precise button pressing.

Overview: RapidFire is an OK game its the type of game that you mite play if your stuck in cab or on the train but its just too boring for anyone to be really interested in playing it but there’s no harm in having more games. RapidFire is free game thats compatible with loads of different phones so if you like the look of it then there’s no harm in trying. Read more

Name: Happy Lines

Genre: Arcade/Puzzle

Summary: Games for mobiles are made to entertain you while your alone with your nokia N96, but many games are now designed to be played competitively and that ends up making a game which is over complicated. Happy Lines is a back to basics arcade game with the simple goal of making five-in-a-row, the normal problem with arcade games is that they are repetitive and quite slow but on the upside they generally require more thought. Happy Lines isn’t like that, in Happy Lines you have to connect 5 balls my moving them to the required place but every time you move one 3 more balls appear on the screen, once you have five-in-a-row they disappear and give you more time and once you have filled the time bar you win and go to the next level, but if you don’t create five-in-a-row before the time runs out or you lose. In the end its like connect four with tetris and a clock and I was completely surprised how  it was.

Overview: I think this is my favorite arcade game ever, most arcade games I play I tend to put down every few minutes but this proper addictive. I think most games are should be fun, challenging, long lasting, cheap and they should work flawlessly. Happy Lines ticks all of those boxes and with all its little animations and other visual effects this game is a real pleasure to play and only costs $6. The game does have a trial for anyone interested but I should warn you that it is addictive. Read more

Name: Dance Fabulous

Genre: Arcade

Summary: In recent times a lot more  hype is around N-gage games, Dance Fabulous has been hyped about for a good while now and it has now been released ahead of schedule. The very first thing you will notice is the size and this blows away most N-gage games because its 30MB where as most N-gage game don’t go over 5mb. The point of Dance Fabulous is as any Dancing game, basically make you dancer move in the best way. A few things it prides itself on is customization which is almost unlimited, the key that I see to this game is its ability to let you dance along with your own music so your not listening to some crap that’s 10 years old. Dance Fabulous only costs £4/€5 which is very cheap for a game of this size. The graphics and sound effects are perfect giving the game a really quality feel and has been give the highest rating so far in the N-gage arena.

Overview: Lets be honest, not that many people are going to be interested in this game. In a whole the game is very flashy which is nice to see come from nokia but I think unless you ware a skirt then you should pass on this game, if however you like the idea of the game then you really should check it out because it is a good game. To play this game you need the latest version of N-gage(1.20-1459) which you can download from below. If you where thinking of trying out the trial, Don’t because its a waste of time all in all you get about 1 minute of play time and about 30 seconds of that is dancing. I will post a link to a video of the full version in action.
