Nokia N96 app review – Photoinbox
Name: PhotoInBox
Description: Photo sms display
Summary: This PhotoInBox is an application that will take you a year to set up and will last all of 5 minuets. Never the less its just another way to customize your phone and I’m sure any younger user will have this application right off. What PhotoInBox does is to display a picture of what ever or who ever you chose and when the designated contact send you a message it will display their picture. Its a little deeper than that for the application you can also create sms and Optimize the User-Interface, it feels like a sms base center so if anyone is big into sms which I know there’s a few should check it out.
Overview: You would need to be a big text-er to bother with PhotoInBox as it cost 11,99$ but could be worth a it, as I said it just depends on the person. I would also say that Its about time something like this came out we have been able to see callers with images and now you can have the same for sms. Give it a try because it dose have a 15 day trial so give it a go.
To buy this application you can get it here
To download the trail here.

Nokia n96 N-gage review- Need for Speed Undercover
Name: Need for Speed Undercover
Genre: racing
Summary: NFS undercover has been out on the top consoles for a while now there is even the a new one coming out in September but for now lets stick with this. NFS undercover is all about racing against ruthless gangs running an international crime ring, buying cars and upgrading them. There are many races and ore events including sprints, cop take-out, speed camera, highway battles, bounty, lap k.o and boss races. With about 7 cars to choose from golfs to Porsche and can all be upgraded with all different parts.

Graphics: Well what exactly are you expecting, some games arnt that demanding like poker or monopoly but since this game is all about going fast around streets and avoiding cars you cant expect it to be perfect but in fairness the graphics are playable but still has a lot to be desired.
Overall: Well its actually really addictive and will entertain you for a while but the game doesnt have anything to make you really want play this game again. In the end of the day its up to you whether its worth you spending £6 for it.

Check out the offical website here
But if you want to try it out you can go to the n-gage website and download the trial.
If you have any questions about NFS undercover then feel free to comment in the forum.
Nokia N96 App Review – Alone MP3 Player
March 7, 2009 by Patrick Campbell
Name: Alone MP3 Player
Description: Audio recorder/player, call recorder.
Summary: The Alon MP3 Dictaphone is the first high-quality MP3 player to replace the pre-installed music player.
It supports MP3, OGG, AAC/MP4, AMR, WAV and a few more, plus it has a great Equalizer, and it also supports M3U playlists.
The application is easy to use, however, it can take its time to find all your songs, but in the end of the day, it’s one of these applications that make your phone better.
The record function is one of the best, recording everything very crisply and clear.
This is a 14-day trial software, so see how you like it, and if it’s really that useful to you, then it’s all there to be bought. Here’s the trial.

Overall: Great MP3 player, if you find the pre-installed music player to be a bit lacking then try this.
Rating: 9/10
If you have any problems or questions about the Alone MP3 player, please feel free to comment at the applications forum.
Nokia N96 App Review- Total Recall
March 7, 2009 by Patrick Campbell
Name: Total recall
Description: Call Recorder
Summary: This is probably the easiest, most friendly conversation/extended recorder utility ever.
It doesn’t beep when it starts and will record for as long as you have memory, it can also send the recorded clip automatically to anyone via SMS or MMS. This application will auto-start but won’t really affect your phone’s performance, and all clips are cleverly made and easily sent to anywhere. However, make sure you change the settings before you start using it.

If you are thinking that you don’t need a call recorder, which is reasonable, you probably have never needed one. I’ll tell a little story about one: “Me, my girlfriend and mate of mine where going to this party now we are all a little drunk, and we are going to a place quite far away, anyway my mate calls a taxi and we all go there but when we arrive at this wrong place, and the taxi driver was going to leave but my friend had recoded the conversation, proving that we said the right place and he had taken us to the wrong place” and from then on I record any important call I make.

Overview: This app is a free ad-based version so you will have to view an ad when you receive a call but it’s free - download here.
If you have any problem or issues with Total Recall then please feel free to leave a comment at the Applications forum!
N96 live pictures and hands-on notes
At the right N96 N81 8GB, and at the left the N81 8GB N96. It’s not just the display that’s bigger, but there are few minor changes in cosmetics on the front. The keys are slightly separated, and the multimedia key is smaller. The navi-wheel is made thinner and higher so that it feels good to the finger.

Two days for N96 to release!
Yes it’s only two more days before the Nokia N96 releases to the market. As I said previously, this should be the final media release, which means that in few weeks it will hit the markets. It only depends on national regulators, networks, and logistics on the date of release to the public, all retailers usually differ.
Stay tuned to our upcoming review. For now you can appreciate Mobile-Review’s Eldar’s review.

Weekend Nokia N96 Blog Review
March 30, 2008 by M. Hussein
Yes. the title can be something abnormal to Nokia N96 Blog. I am writing this post just to let you know some things that are happening all around this Blog, as I said it is a review/news/posted newsletter (this last characterization is the best….I think…).
The first thing is that Nokia N96 Blog is surpassing the visits of PhoneReport, if you don’t know, PhoneReport is our brother blog, such as MyLovelyGadgets, but PhoneReport is better known all around the mobile world, it has approximately 1 year and is mainly done by Meraj (my big friend).
At the beginning of Nokia N96’s blog, we thought it couldn’t be easy to attract visitors to a blog when the main theme is just one mobile phone, but Meraj insisted and I finished agreeing with his arguments. Now it seems He was totally right, and let me remember you that the visits we are having are mainly organic.
I am not just posting to tell about this “surpassement” of PhoneReport, but also to thank you (all visitors and feed subscribers), because this growing would be impossible without you. At now our Alexa Rank is 675.605, again increasing as time goes by.
Meraj can’t appear online in this month, cause his internet limit have been reached (he is in South Africa), bu Tuesday we will have new posts and more news.
We have in our website some free ad spaces that are free and you can buy them for an unlimited time with the price we have on the contact form. You, advertiser, remember that we have more than 1000 pages views daily, a Nice Alexa ranking, more than 100 feed subscribers and Nokia N96 will be released in August. The prices will grow if our popularity grows as Nokia N96’s fame increases.
Maybe, Tuesday we will update our Wordpress Blog to the version 2.5, final, the blog will not go down as this is just a fast update.
Here is another RSS button…also the BIGGEST of the world.
Nokia N96 reviewed in english!
March 27, 2008 by Meraj Chhaya
Filed under Applications, Hands-on, NSeries, Nokia, Review, S60, Symbian
Eldar has had his mega-review of the upcoming jewel translated, of which in a previous post I chose my favourites shots.

I will present my views on the phone by the weekend, but I leave you with an excerpt of the interesting article:
“
Interestingly, over a year ago Nokia started to enhance its product portfolio not only by varying styles, but also hardware platform underpinning their solutions. The Nokia N95 and its follow-ups built upon the TI OMAP chip, while the N96 takes advantage of STMicroelectronics’s Nomadik. So when comparing these two phones, their similarities don’t go beyond physical aspects, since other things, like functionality and hardware, are quite different.
Is the N96 a mass-market solution? No. Then, is it heavily specialized, aiming at one particular niche? No. It is rather somewhere in between. This phone will see moderate sales, although the fuss around it will easily shadow its modest numbers.”
