Nokia N96 Theme Review – Fear

Name: Fear
Creator: Xavier
Summary: All my days and times are a bit hectic at the moment but hopefully it will be sorted out my the end of the week. Anyway I saw this a day ago and thought it was worth a post so here it is. Fear is the latest theme from Xavier for the nokia N96 and from the outside it looks like another stunning theme with custom icons. One feature which I don’t thing Xavier intended is that this is one of the best themes for dealing with high amounts of light some themes become completely illegible but this theme just soaks in the light making it easy to see any menu or option. Fear is a nice theme the background image is nice and in the dark look really interesting and even though there is custom icons most of them seem the same as the default but in the end is a nice theme.
Overview: I always look forward to what themes mite come out in the future this theme justifies waiting for a new theme because fear is well worth checking out. As all our themes this one is free and you can download the theme both with and without the icons from the link below. All thanks should go to Xavier for creating this great theme and I can’t wait to see whats coming next. Read more
Nokia N96 Theme Review – Insomnia

Name: Insomnia

Summary: As it’s a Sunday my theme this week is Xavier‘s latest theme Insomnia. Simplicity is a key in good themes, too plain it becomes bland and too busy it becomes very messy and unclear. Insomnia had a great mix both plain and simple with quite vibrant colour. The icons are nice and add a lot to the colour to the whole feel of the theme. If I had a gun to my head the only thing I would complain about is the background when you are writing a text. Even that isn’t any real problem, Insomnia is an awesome theme and is really lively and makes your nokia N96 look like it has much more depth.
Overview: I know most of my themes are from the same creators and I was looking for another creator but then t came down to it the was just no better theme. As all of our themes Insomnia is free so its always worth a check and if you don’t like the icons then you can install that version which is in the downloaded folder. In the end of the day this is a really nice theme and one of the most flawless. Read more
Nokia N96 Theme Review – Flow

Name: Flow
Creator: Xavier
Summary: This is my third theme from Xavier because at the moment there aren’t very many good themes coming around on the scene but Xavier has yet to make a bad theme. Flow is the latest from Xavier and it has all the characteristics of all the rest of his themes, simple, clean and elegant. Flow comes with all the icons from Xavier which generally a lot of people like his icons but there is a copy of this theme without the icons. I will admit that my font isn’t the best for this theme but I am sure some one Will find one that looks nicer. The party piece of this theme is how it can look when the screen is in landscape.
Overview: Its a really nice theme and as all of our themes its free so you can enjoy all you want. I do have a bit of a problem with this theme and that is the battery and signal bars don’t look that great they look more like fish bones instead of a bar. I would also like to tell you that one or twice I had a few problems with the landscape mode and if this happens to you try installing a different version of it. Read more
Nokia N96 Theme Review – Severity

Name: Severity
Creator: Xavier
Summary: Severity another Theme created by Xavier which means straight away you know that its going to be a nice theme for your Nokia N96. Severity has a its own unique look which is very eliguent and gives the n96 a classic look. The thing I like most about Severity is the colour of the text which is grey but its not only that it makes the whole display looks like a messy notepad but the look works really well. The icons are the same as the last theme I posted called “DreamScene” but they dont have to be installed if you don’t like them. What I like about Severity is how the display doesn’t look like a phone. The other thing that I really like about the theme is when you highlight a folder in changes the text white and the background of the folder gray .
Overview: It’s sunday so i thought a few people would like a new theme to show off around work or two a few mates but I didn’t think I was going to like Severity as much as I do. Also If you do like this remember was created by Xavier so make sure all the credit go to him. Severity is free and a very nice theme so I would try it out. Read more
Nokia N96 Theme Review – Dreamscene

Name: Dreamscene
Creator: Xavier
Summary: As it it Sunday and everyone’s sitting back enjoying the forumula1 and not creating applications so I thought that this is a nice time to change themes. Dreamscene is a clean theme for the Nokia N96 created by one of the best Theme creators in the business and this is one of the nicer ones out there. The nicest thing about this theme is the light and how it gets darker at the top and how well the clock looks. You can tell straight away that this is a professional theme by the icons which suit the phone quite well but there is other versions in the download that don’t have the icons. What I will say is that this theme isn’t exactly for practicality more for style, all the same its a great theme that you should check out
Overview: There’s one or two things some people mite find annoying is how dark it is, although I thing it adds to the style of the theme. Another thing that mite put people off is the icons because they are quite nice just not as eloquent or as relevant as the default icons. As all our themes here this is free and I would also like to the the people at Xavier for doing such a wonderful job and if you don’t like this one I’m sure Xavier have some theme that you’ll like.
